literacy and numeracy

The Essential Skills programme offers support for people wishing  to brush up on their use of English and Maths. The course has proved particularly useful for people wanting to improve their skills in managing household budgets or helping their children with homeworks. 

Oasis runs a number of small groups, facilitated by qualified tutors.  One-to-one tuition is also available if required.

The courses are free of charge.
